At CRIMEFIX INTERNATIONAL, we promote collaborative activities and joint action on precedence problem behavior on crime prevention and regulate in the development context; develop personnel and standards of performance in criminal justice, assist in the provision of empirical facts for decision-making through policy-oriented research by encouraging the pooling and exchange of expertise, experience and information; assist in the promotion of indigenous approaches and innovative solutions in the design of strategies in uprooting sophisticated crimes. As part of CRIMEFIX INTERNATIONAL’s 2019-2020 projects outline, we intend to establish the Center for Cyberlaw and Cyber Crime Prevention that would be hosted by reputable universities across the UK and Ghana respectively.
CORRECTIONAL WORKSHOP
The Ghana Prisons Service as an attachment of the Ghanaian criminal justice system will benefit from our carefully designed programmes to help change the face of the prison systems through prison reform systems provided by reputable academic. The team at CrimeFix International will endeavor to start negotiations with the Ghana Prisons Service for a consultative meeting to support our first West African correctional workshop.
TRAINING FOR CRIME INVESTIGATORS AND CRIME JOURNALISTS IN CYBER FRAUD
The purpose of the Training Plan is to facilitate capacity building in a structured setting within the Criminal Justice Institution and seek coordinated effort of crime journalist in the mitigating of cybercrime activities in Ghana by enabling them with knowledge on electronic technologies in order to be able to understand the use of electronic evidence.
This platform will aim to strengthen and balance the working relationship between crime journalists and the justice and judiciary systems in the UK and Ghana respectively.
